Special Cutters & Grinding Inc. is a full service cutting tool repair and grinding shop that has been serving Mobile, AL & the Southeast for over 13 years.

Our skilled employees use time tested techniques and the latest equipment to recondition all kinds of cutting tools. All of our work is performed in-house and enables us to meet quick turnaround times. We also have access to one of the most modern CNC machine shops in the area to provide other support.

Sharpening and repair of items like Mueller cutters, Hougen bits, and the modification of Morse Tapers are a common request from our customers.

Carbide circular saws are cleaned and inspected for flaws. Carbide teeth are replaced as needed and the saws are reconditioned by our skilled employees using our dedicated CNC saw sharpener, which returns the product back to the manufacture's specifications.

Our team can custom modify almost any tool using your prints or sketches and hold tolerances on any project.

Other services include: I.D., O.D. and surface grinding. We can also create pilots, add radiuses, as well as add chamfers.

Some local pick-up and deliveries can be arranged as needed.
